Our Founder
Mark King has spent seventeen years in recruitment at the intersection of healthcare, technology and transformation. He founded Altura Clinical on a straightforward conviction — that the best clinical hires come from relationships built over years, not from databases or job boards.
His network spans GP clinics, imaging providers, hospitals and health networks across Australia and internationally, covering everything from GP placement and medical imaging to senior clinical leadership search. He has supported international doctors through the full relocation journey and worked closely with practice owners and health service leaders to build clinical teams that last.
Mark is drawn to people who have mastered their craft; the GP who understands their community, the radiographer who reads the room as well as the scan, the clinical director who carries both clinical credibility and organisational judgement. That instinct shapes every search Altura Clinical runs.
